
Ahmedabad University
Ahmedabad University is a private, non-profit university set up in 2009 by the Ahmedabad Education Society (AES) and is recognised by the UGC. It is ranked among the top 10 universities in India and the top 20 in South Asia in the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking 2021 for Climate Action. The varsity is also recognised as a Centre of Excellence by the Government of Gujarat in 2021. At present, Ahmedabad University comprises three schools and five centres with opportunities for interdisciplinary learning, including Amrut Mody School of Management, School of Arts and Sciences, School of Engineering and Applied Science, Centre for Heritage Management, VentureStudio, Centre for Learning Futures, Global Centre for Environment and Energy and Centre for Inter-Asian Research.
